GROUP PROGRAM
This 8-week, neuro-affirming group program supports children aged 8–15 who may find friendships difficult or feel left out, struggle with bullying or conflict at school, experience big emotions that can escalate quickly, or learn differently and need extra support with focus and concentration.

Social Stencil is not a traditional “social skills” program. Instead of teaching a set of ‘ideal’ behaviours, the program focuses on respect, inclusion, and understanding differences. Facilitators model inclusive language and create a safe, affirming space where children can explore emotions, friendship concepts and strategies for managing conflict.
Children will learn about:
Listening styles and building meaningful connections
Exploring the wide range of human emotions and how they overlap
The Science of Anger – what happens in the body, and what next?
Friendship concepts, styles and variations
Working in groups respectfully and effectively
Understanding why conflict happens
Strategies for managing real-life problems with others
