The Therapy at Home Cake Masters Program focuses on building children’s capacity for planning, organising and executing the multiple steps involved in decorating a cake from scratch.

The projects work in order of complexity so that children have the opportunity to work towards more involved creations throughout the course of the program.

They will be guided to bake the cake, prepare the icing and apply the decorations and they will build on their cake decorating skills with each new project. Children will develop an understanding and awareness of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.

The culminating project is the own choice cake, where children have the freedom to let their creative side shine as they plan and execute their very own decorated cake to share with the family.

NOTE: In addition to Cake Masters, Therapy at Home offers a suite of cooking programs:

For children with a keen interest in cooking, these programs can be explored for further skill development in these areas.

The Cooking Program focuses on introducing children to key baking processes using carefully selected baking mixes and is suitable for beginning cooks.

The Cooking for Independence Program can be delivered in conjunction with or as an extension to Cake Masters.
