About the Lego OT at Home Program
The Lego OT at Home Program has been designed by our team of Occupational Therapists to engage children in play using Lego building projects to achieve their goals.
Guiding children through the process of lego building, this program supports them to use appropriate communication to provide instructions to others, follow verbal instructions to complete a task and maintain focus for the duration of the activity.
Plus, the Lego Program also:

OT at Home Program Inclusions
Our OT at Home Programs combine 2 complementary aspects: a toolbox of supportive and adaptive resources and an online guided program.
The Toolbox
Your program toolbox is delivered direct to your door and includes a range of resources to support your child in developing their skills at home in line with the online program.
The Online Program
Our therapist-developed program is delivered via the online platform Teachable. The program contains videos and supporting resources to guide children and their supports through each module series step-by step.
Online Program Modules
Includes over 15 guided instructional videos, taking children through the following curriculum.
Module 1: Lego Roles
Engage with the lego building process through the lens of language and communication development via 3 different roles.
Module 2: Lego Builds
Engage with five different Lego builds with printed booklet and guided video instructions to develop motor planning and sequencing, and executive function skills.
Module 3: Extension play
Using the theme of the Lego build, engage with scaffolded and modelled post-build activities and extensions for sensory and creative play-based skill building.
Module 4: Pulling it all together
Take on, and manage, all three Lego roles to see a Lego building task through from beginning to end.
Module 5: Social Lego
Work with others using the roles framework and instructions booklets to build a lego project together as a team. This provides a platform for language and communication development through structured group play.

NDIS Funding for OT at Home
Our OT at Home Programs may be available for purchase with NDIS funds (capacity building or core).
As an NDIS registered provider, we are really mindful of the operational guidelines and reasonable and necessary criteria. We provide Outcome Reports for each of our programs to ensure that participants are measuring and reporting their progress.
The activities included in each toolbox align with evidence-based practice regarding the benefits of learning and skill acquisition through play.
Each activity has been specifically chosen to work on a range of skills to ensure the benefits of the program for a wide audience of participants.
